Viscoelasticity tester

WaveCyber's "Vesmeter" is a four-in-one rheological analyzer!

By simply replacing the sensor head, a wide range of samples can be measured with a single unit!

No need for a piece of material, and a new measuring head can be customized according to the physical properties of the specimen!

ワンタッチで簡単計測

Is it true that measurement is easy with one-touch operation?

The operation is one-touch, and measurement can be performed by simply placing the sensor head on the specimen.

Measurement time is approximately 3 seconds, and six types of measurement and analysis data are provided: elasticity, viscosity, viscoelastic modulus, relaxation time, hardness, and depth.

Because it is not only quick and easy to measure, but also accurate and reproducible, it is used in various companies, educational institutions, government laboratories, and factories.

Why are there multiple mechanical and sensor head types? How to choose one?

We recommend the handheld type if you want to measure a specimen directly and easily on site, or if you cannot make a measurement sample, etc. The stationary type is recommended for more precise measurement.

In addition, there are several types of Vesmeter because the tuning of the sensor head is changed according to the hardness of the object to be measured in order to improve the measurement accuracy.

(A,C,D,CX, for skin.For scalp)

We will propose a machine type and a sensor head according to the specimen you want to measure.

Is it true that there is a secret in the tactile indenter coming out of the tip of the measuring head?

The tactile indenter from the sensor head is designed to prevent damage to the surface of the specimen during measurement.

This device enables non-destructive measurement close to sensory evaluation!

Vesmeter Measurement Principle

The Vesmeter directly measures and analyzes the waveform during the process of deformation caused by a certain external force applied to the specimen by an angle indenter and restored after the external force is removed.

What is a viscoelastic body?

Have you ever heard of the term viscoelastic body?

Perhaps you are not familiar with it, but it is actually a property that we see a lot of in our daily lives.

So what exactly is viscoelasticity?

Basics of Viscoelasticity

Viscoelasticity is the property of a substance having both viscous and elastic properties.

To put this simply, when a substance is deformed, it exhibits both the force to return to its original state (elasticity) and the force to continue to deform slowly (viscosity).

弾性体の例:ゴムボール
粘性体の例:粘土

Various materials around us have this property, and viscoelasticity can be observed in everyday life.

When you pick up a jelly, marshmallow, clay or ball, please try to feel its viscoelasticity.
