Abstruct

It is ideal for research, development, and quality control of products and materials ranging from silicone gel with viscoelastic properties to rubber and regenerative medicine-related products.
By attaching a measuring head and a tip indenter suited to the characteristics of the specimen to be measured, six types of data (elasticity, viscosity, viscoelastic modulus, relaxation time, hardness, and depth) can be measured with high accuracy in a single-touch operation.

 

 

Development History

Viscoelasticity testers that became our core business: BESTMETER E-200DT, E-100HB

When we sold the completed oil-moisture tester to a cosmetics manufacturer, they asked us if we could accurately measure the condition of the skin, which is the base of cosmetics.We immediately began development, created a machine to confirm the principle, and began quantifying the results.Next, we needed samples of stable materials for calibration control using reference materials.
We contacted a major chemical manufacturer and asked them to prepare samples with different physical properties, which we evaluated with our equipment in a joint development project, and after much trial and error, the E-200DT stationary type besmeter was completed.After much trial and error, the stationary BESTMETER E-200DT was completed. The results showed that it could be used as an evaluation index for silicone gel.When we published an article introducing the “VESTMETER E-200DT” technology, we received inquiries from automobile tire manufacturers and received requests for a handy type that could be used on site (same data as the stationary type + α; relaxation time).(Same data as the stationary type + α; relaxation time)
We obtained a subsidy from the government with the support of Saitama City Industrial Creation Foundation.After six months of development, the handy type was completed and adopted by Saitama Industrial Technology Center and purchased by an automobile tire manufacturer, which triggered the development.Since then, we have delivered the product to other tire manufacturers and other rubber-related companies by word-of-mouth reputation.
